I'm watching a 2006 episode of 24. And there's a car crash involving what looks to be a 2006 Lexus LS. And when it flips like the headlights aren't even the same and I just spent 10 minutes trying to search what car it is and my conclusion is when a 2006 LS gets into a rollover it turns into a 1998 Avalon with IS wheels LOL.

I do this too. Anytime a car is on tv I'm like "Ooh, it that a - ?" and everyone sighs.

My dormmate is watching Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D or whatever and I'm watching it for the sole reason that Lexus rudely product places ALLLL over it HAHAHA.

Oh it annoys me. Fast Five, there was a Touareg with Cayenne GTS wheels and I just wanted to be angry inside.

Yeah, that's why you watch it. Sure. I totally believe you two aren't going all out dressed up as Captain America and Thor and playing with your action figures.

I had a moment like this when I was watching CSI. In one scene there was a flashback to 1999, and in the background there was a brand new 2013 Honda Civic.

I did that while watching an episode of Dexter. An e46 is involved in a crash. When they go to look at the wrecked car at the scrapyard it's an e36. I rewound the scene so I could point out all the details to everyone watching, I dont think they cared...

My wife hates me for this
Even watching fucking Doctor Goddamned Who, I'll pause and rewind just to check a vehicle out for issues - especially to see if the vehicles are period correct.
It's gotten to the point that if I reach for the controller, I get slapped

Burn Notice was good at this one too. The bad guys often drove GMT 900 Escalades, but when they flip, they magically drift back in time to the '99-'00 GMT 400.

And, this could totally be an awesome QOTD: Worst movie stunt car replacements.
